Job Purpose
You will be responsible for mechanical and electrical maintenance, providing technical support to the Water Production team to repair and maintain water assets. Working in a fast-paced, modern maintenance environment, you will offer proactive, planned, and reactive support in all aspects of your expertise, ensuring compliance with company, statutory, and regulatory requirements while minimising environmental impact.
Job Accountabilities
Your key responsibilities will include:
1. Delivering Efficient Maintenance: Implement mechanical and electrical maintenance and installation services with precision.
2. Problem-Solving: Analyse faults, rectify issues, and ensure the smooth operation of electrical instrumentation and systems-based equipment.
3. Proactive Maintenance: Perform planned and proactive maintenance activities to keep everything running smoothly.
4. Safety First: Ensure compliance with all Health & Safety regulations and internal company policies.
5. Financial: Maintain financial control of predefined budgets.
6. Data Accuracy: Provide reliable, accurate, and complete asset performance and repair information for entry into corporate systems.
7. Innovative Solutions: Analyse and recommend solutions to recurring maintenance problems.
Knowledge and Skills
To be considered for this role you must have:
1. Extensive experience as a mechanical and/or electrical engineer.
2. Proven ability to analyse faults and implement comprehensive reactive solutions.
3. An HNC or at least an ONC in a relevant technical discipline.
4. Previous experience in the water industry (desirable).

3. Flexibility and adaptability to manage conflicting priorities effectively.
