Main duties of the job
* Conducting clinical assessment in various vaccination clinic settings.
* Administration of vaccinations where required.
* Willingness to learn different vaccinations depending on service needs.
* Support with MECC interventions, blood pressure checks and health checks where appropriate.

Job responsibilities
Location: Vaccination clinics across East Devon, including outreach settings, housebound and care home visits, hospital sites and Greendale Vaccination Centre.
Shift Patterns: Majority of shifts are weekday with some weekend availability during peak periods.
Contract length: Seasonal

What you'll need:
* Previous experience of delivering vaccination programme.
* Previously delivered immunisation schedules/ influenza immunisations.
* A minimum of 6 months paid experience in a Vaccination Unit within the last 3 years.
* Comply with NMC Professional Registration and keep up to date with current nursing practices.
*Depending on the Trust, you may require variable additional certification and skills.

Person Specification
Experience
* A minimum of 6 months paid experience in an Acute hospital environment within the last 3 years.
* Previous experience of delivering vaccination programme.
* Previously delivered immunisation schedules/ influenza immunisations.
Qualifications
* All Registered Nurse roles will be required to provide evidence of:
* Statement of NMC Registration.
* Degree / Diploma in Nursing.
