Role summary -
Our client is seeking a dedicated and organised Technical Support Officer to join their Housing Maintenance and Asset Management team. This role is critical in supporting the delivery of Aids and Adaptations services within our managed properties. As a Technical Support Officer, you will provide vital administrative and technical support to ensure the smooth operation of our client's services, contributing to the well-being and comfort of our residents.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Acknowledge and manage new referrals, ensuring clients are promptly informed of receipt.
2. Maintain accurate and up-to-date waiting lists and contractor registers.
3. Liaise with Occupational Therapists (OTs), customers, and colleagues to arrange pre-start and feasibility assessment meetings.
4. Issue tender documents, collate contractor responses, and process interim and final payments after project completion.
5. Assist in the preparation of data and statistics for performance monitoring and compliance with Freedom of Information requests.
6. Ensure timely administration, including logging new cases, updating records, and closing files upon completion.
Requirements:
7. Proven experience in providing technical administrative support in a busy environment.
8. Proficiency in using various software packages, particularly Microsoft Office.
9. Strong data input and management skills.
10. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively at all levels.
11. Ability to work both independently and as part of a team, with strong organisational skills and a commitment to meeting deadlines.
12. Enthusiastic about adopting changes and continuously improving service delivery.
