FM Conway is currently recruiting for a Planning Manager to join our Transport for London – HMPF contract. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the continuous success we have with Transport for London, by planning the work packages effectively and efficiently. This is a permanent, full-time position, based from our Beddington Lane depot in Croydon, South London.
The duties of the Planning Manager role will include:
1. Planning and programming reactive core works received from inspectors or from TfL minor highway works and core services activities.
2. Ensuring compliance with contract requirements and supporting successful KPI performance.
3. Liaising closely with other divisions to support the planning of non-core works such as Structures, Surfacing and Water and Drainage Management.
4. Ensuring efficiency of delivery, maximising resource utilisation and utilisation of traffic management and road space.
5. Working closely with the TfL operational team to understand and fulfil client expectations and maximise work instructions.
What skills and experience do you need?
We are looking for candidates with experience in a similar role, dealing with a range of internal and external stakeholders on the phone and via email. Ideally, you will have worked within the highways/construction industry, although this is not essential. To be successful in this role you will need to have good IT skills, an organised nature and experience within planning.
