You will be part of the Forensics cluster team based in Tamworth, United Kingdom, reporting to the Managing Director of the Forensics Unit. Eurofins Forensic Services laboratories are amongst the most advanced analytical facilities in Europe, enabling the company to offer a complete and comprehensive range of independent and innovative forensic testing solutions to police forces, legal and criminal justice organizations throughout the UK and Europe. As a General Manager You Will: Lead the Civil Law Cluster consisting of Work Place Drug Testing (WDT) and Legal Testing Services (LTS) in the UK. Grow the cluster into the recognized market leader whilst driving commercial and operational excellence, including extensive sub-contractor management. Lead all non lab activities in the cluster with a particular focus on: building customer service provision and streamlining processes, securing market leading customers, and outsourcing of wet lab testing. In conjunction with Eurofins colleagues, manage the wet laboratory testing provision so it is aligned to customer needs and maintains the required accreditation at all times. Make sure that cross-selling synergies with other Eurofins laboratories in Europe are developed. Actively lead and deliver the development, implementation and optimal use of a new end to end digital platforms. Motivate, develop, coach and retain excellent Business Unit Managers and department heads. Continue to improve the technical and scientific aspects of the business units by ensuring the appropriate development and application of new techniques and business processes. You have Profit and Loss experience, where you had operations and commercial aspects under your responsibility. Education: You have a degree or NCEA diploma in a relevant discipline.
