POSITION SUMMARY The Traffic Manager works in partnership with Design Management and agency partners to effectively deliver work on time and within budget. The Traffic Manager is engaged in strategic design projects from brief inception to completion, including the scheduling of design reviews with senior management and customer teams. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES • Handles pre-production engagement between agency partners, internal graphics team and pre-press suppliers to ensure design intent is being considered in early stages of development. • Manages workflow from brief/intake to finalization. • Manages and displays ongoing project progress and allocations across team and portfolio, ensuring transparency and company-wide understanding of workflow. • Partners with Graphics Facilitators to execute design strategy. • Monitors project risks in close partnership with Design Managers/Agency Partners to proactively identify solutions and address them in advance. • Handles real-time decisions and prioritization of projects & workflows across creative and technology. Works in collaboration with Senior Brand Design Manager. • Builds productive relationships, leading and championing design throughout the organization. • Influences and mentors throughout all levels in the organization from Senior Leaders to interns. • Maintains work-flow management of all design related projects. • Maintains job status, tracking and monitor progress. • Handles budget maintenance and ensuring projects are completed within budget. • Manages timelines. • Conducts traffic/ status meetings to update Design Management and agency partners on the progress. • Additional duties as assigned. ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES QUALIFICATIONS / REQUIREMENTS • Bachelor’s Degree in Graphic Design, Arts or related field • Advanced degree (MBA, Master’s) preferred • 6 years of previous Agency Trafficking experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience • Occasional travel either locally, nationally, and/or internationally may be required. • High degree of proficiency in MS Office Suite, Outlook & Internet applications. • Strong analytical, prioritizing, interpersonal, problem-solving, presentation, budgeting, project management (from conception to completion), & planning skills. • Strong verbal and written communication skills (including analysis, interpretation, & reasoning). • Solid understanding and application of mathematical concepts. • Ability to develop and maintain collaborative relationships with peers and colleagues across the organization, as well as, internal and external clients. • Ability to work well autonomously and within a team in a fast-paced and deadline-oriented environment. • Ability to work with and influence peers and management. • Self-motivated with critical attention to detail, deadlines and reporting.
