Responsibilities Drive the growth and development of the café to profitability and wide community engagement Utilise and further develop policies and procedures for day to day running of café cash/stock/menu etc Make links with young people and relevant agencies Oversee operational management of the cafe Recruit, train and enable volunteers in the cafe Ensure all aspects of health and safety have been considered. Ensure the safeguarding and working with young people. Tie in project with the values and mission of St Lukes PERSON SPECIFICATION Proven experience as a restaurant/cafe manager Entrepreneurial skills to develop the business Exceptionally good front of house manner A hands-on approach with a very keen eye for detail, both cleanliness and presentation.Barista coffee trained Excellent people, communication and supervisory skills An understanding of required compliance (Food hygiene, COSHH & HACCP) Other requirements: Two referees Enhanced DBS required ADZN1_UKTJ
