Registered Nurse - Short Stay Unit
Join our dynamic team on the Short Stay Unit, a 40-bedded, fast-paced environment dedicated to providing exceptional care for patients with a variety of acute medical conditions. Our unit focuses on patients with a length of stay of up to 72 hours, ensuring a swift and efficient recovery process.
Key Responsibilities:
Support to Ward/Department Leader:
1. Collaborate closely with the Ward/Department Leader to ensure the delivery of high-quality patient care.
2. Assist in the management and coordination of the unit, promoting best practices and continuous improvement.
Nursing Care:
1. Deliver and monitor comprehensive nursing care for a designated group of patients throughout their care episode.
2. Utilize your clinical skills to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized patient care plans.
Learning Environment:
1. Play an active role in fostering an effective and supportive learning environment.
2. Mentor and support junior staff and students, contributing to their professional development and the overall learning culture of the unit.
