Job summary
If you are looking to work in a busy but friendly department then look no further. We are looking for someone to work alongside the team for 15 hours per week over three days. The post is to support with the typing of clinical letters and arranging and booking appointments. A knowledge of the RTT targets would be beneficial but not essential as all appropriate training will be provided.
The successful candidate would work alongside the secretarial team to provide comprehensive and efficient typing and administrative support. Excellent IT and communication skills are essential for the role.
You should have good organisational skills and be able to demonstrate a consistently high standard of professionalism. Most of all we are looking for someone that not only can work on their own but is a team player.

Main duties of the job
You will be responsible for handling telephone calls, supporting the bookings of new and follow up appointments, audio typing of clinical letters, monitoring patient imaging and histopathology results, processing referrals and providing general support to the secretarial team.

* Good General Education (e.g. GCSE English and Maths A-C) GCSE Level 9-4
* Business Administration NVQ level 3 or equivalent experience in a clerical environment
