Key Responsibilities: Ensure a safe working environment. Produce Subcontract documentation, including terms, prices, and programme negotiations. Manage subcontract works packages, interim assessments, and change management. Issue commercial notices to Clients and Subcontractors as per the contract. Manage timely contract changes, including Compensation Event Quotations. Submit and agree monthly applications with the Client. Liaise with operational and engineering teams to maintain site record standards. Produce detailed monthly reports and Cost Value Reconciliation (CVR). Maintain a ‘Cost Plan,’ tracking and forecasting expenditure. Interpret and evaluate internal cost system expenditure reports. Attend progress and risk reduction meetings with clients and subcontractors. Maximise value and profit, applying ‘Doing the right thing’ principles. Assist estimating and bid teams with contractual expertise. Be a key member of the on-site commercial team. Required Qualifications and Skills: Strong understanding of standard forms of contract. Proficient in Excel, Word, CEMAR, and Oracle systems. Strong stakeholder management and communication skills. Solid knowledge of construction processes. Experience with NEC3/4 Option C. Main contract experience. Excellent time and outcome management. Professional qualification (MCIOB or MRICS, or working towards it). Experience in Civil Engineering (Highways, Rail, Water, Aviation).
