Head of Administration - Birmingham £23,000 - £28,000 (depending on experience) Covering Edgbaston & City Centre Please only apply if you have experience working in admin at an estate agency We are looking for an enthusiastic individual with current experience working for an estate and lettings agency in UK. The ideal candidate will work within the sales, lettings and property management departments. There will be a mixture of tasks involved in the role, assisting with all departments in both the Birmingham City Centre and Edgbaston branches. Job Role (in brief) • Lettings applications lead • Lettings enquiry management • Answering the phone and dealing with enquiries • Property Management assistance • Receipt rents • Tenancy rent reconciliation • Generate landlord statements • Pay landlords, suppliers, and tenants • Client account access and processing authorization • Rent arrears • Chase outstanding invoices • Cash cheques • Generate and issue sales and lettings invoices • Accounts reporting • Covering staff when required Salary and Benefits • Good starting salary of £25,000-28,000 depending on experience. Annual salary reviews. •Working Hours: Monday to Friday 9am- 5.30pm, Alternative Saturdays 9am-1pm (Viewings Only) • On Site Parking Space • Company Laptop • Company Mobile Phone • Mileage covered • Use of City Centre Branch Gym • Target Based Uncapped Commission • Cross Selling Uncapped Commission • 20 Days Annual Leave Plus Bank Holidays Position Requirements • Minimum of 1 year experience working for an estate or lettings agency • Good general knowledge of Birmingham City Centre and Edgbaston areas • Willingness to work as a team and assist other team members • Ability to work on your own effectively • Smart, proactive, enthusiastic, and confident when in an office and public environment • Able to work efficiently in a busy office environment • Competent with MS Office, outlook, and property management software • Excellent telephone manner • Competent representing the company with clients • Excellent written and verbal communication skills • Ability to multi-task, organize, and prioritize work • Education at degree level is preferable but not essential
