Job Description: SEND Teaching Assistant
Location: Kingston upon Thames, Greater London, England
Job Type: Contract, Full-Time

Salary: £450 - £480 Per week

Job Duties:
* Assist in the implementation of individual education plans for students with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND)
* Support students in their learning activities both in group settings and on a one-to-one basis
* Provide assistance with personal care needs as required
* Help create a supportive and inclusive learning environment
* Collaborate with teachers and other professionals to ensure the best possible outcomes for students
Required Qualifications:
* Minimum of GCSEs (or equivalent) in English and Maths
* Experience working with children or individuals with SEND (in a school setting or personal experience)
* Understanding of safeguarding and child protection procedures
Education:
Relevant qualification in Education or Special Educational Needs is desirable but not mandatory.
Knowledge and Skills:
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Ability to work effectively as part of a team
* Patience and empathy when working with students
Preferred Qualifications:
* Teaching Assistant qualification or equivalent
* First Aid certification
Working Conditions:
* Full-Time hours, Monday to Friday
* Work within a school environment
* Potential for additional training and development opportunities
* Reduced Classes (7-9 students)
