Job Title: Pharmacy Technician Banding: Band 4 Location: Doncaster, South Yorkshire Start: ASAP Duration: 3 months We are seeking a dedicated Band 4 Pharmacy Technician to join our client’s team in Doncaster, South Yorkshire. Key Responsibilities: In this role, you will be responsible for dispensing medications for in-patients and out-patients, managing stock control, and preparing discharge prescriptions, including blister packs. You will support the preparation of controlled drug orders, assemble items for ward stock and emergency drug boxes, and ensure the emergency cupboard is adequately stocked. Additionally, you will provide training and supervision to pre-registration technicians and other support staff, participate in late-night, weekend, and bank holiday shifts, and contribute to the smooth running of the pharmacy dispensary. Your role will be pivotal in ensuring the safe and efficient supply of medications, enhancing patient care, and supporting the pharmacy team. Qualifications and Experience: • NVQ Level 3 in Pharmacy Services or equivalent qualification • GPhC Registration • Experience in dispensing medications for in-patients and out-patients • Experience in stock control and managing controlled drugs • Ability to prepare discharge prescriptions, including blister packs • Excellent organisational and time management skills • Strong communication and interpersonal skills • Ability to work flexibly, including late nights, weekends, and bank holidays Why work with Pulse?
