Due to a period of significant success, this market-leading cattle genetics company is looking to expand their team. This is a farmer-led and farmer-owned business that is proud to partner with leading universities and research organizations to provide top-quality, proven solutions focused on progressive beef and dairy units globally.
You will be an integral part of the business, responsible for extensive travel throughout your territory, maintaining existing relations through exceptional technical support, as well as ensuring the client’s needs and requirements are always at the forefront when introducing products and concepts. As with any sales role, you will need to have an aptitude for business development, growing new relationships into long-term partnerships.
You will need:
1. Ideally, a degree of BSc or above in a relevant subject.
2. Strong understanding of the UK Dairy sector, including practical experience - without this, we will be unable to consider your application.
3. Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
4. A head for figures and negotiation as well as the resilience and drive to deal with a career in sales.
5. Full UK driving license.
The successful person will receive a salary in line with experience, a bonus/commission scheme, pension, and a company vehicle.
