Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and hardworking Warehouse Worker to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient operation of our warehouse, handling various tasks related to inventory management, shipping, and receiving. This position requires physical stamina and a commitment to maintaining high standards of quality control.
Responsibilities
1. Perform heavy lifting and manual handling of goods as required.
2. Conduct quality control checks to ensure products meet company standards.
3. Operate warehouse equipment, including forklifts, safely and efficiently.
4. Assist in shipping and receiving processes, ensuring accurate documentation and timely dispatch.
5. Manage stock levels and assist with inventory management using a Warehouse Management System (WMS).
6. Engage in picking and packing orders accurately for delivery.
7. Maintain a clean and organised work environment to promote safety and efficiency.
8. Collaborate with team members to meet daily operational goals.
Skills
1. Strong ability to perform heavy lifting and manual tasks.
2. Knowledge of quality control processes and standards.
3. Previous experience in a warehouse setting is preferred.
4. Familiarity with shipping and receiving procedures.
5. Proficient in stock management techniques.
6. Experience in picking and packing orders efficiently.
7. Valid forklift certification is desirable but not essential; training may be provided.
8. Excellent materials handling skills to ensure safe movement of goods within the warehouse.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: £12.00-£15.00 per hour
Expected hours: 44 per week
