We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented person for a new role within our Residential Property team to schedule conveyancing cases and optimise resources and workload across the team.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Schedule and allocate work among the conveyancing team to ensure efficient workflow and balanced workloads.
2. Monitor and adjust schedules as needed to accommodate changes in priorities and resource availability.
3. Collaborate with the team to forecast resource needs and address any gaps.
4. Interact with clients and other intermediaries.
5. Maintain accurate records of resource allocation and scheduling.
6. Provide regular updates to Head of Department on scheduling and resource management performance.
7. Assist in developing and implementing strategies to improve scheduling efficiency and resource utilisation.
8. Support the conveyancing team by ensuring they have the resources needed to meet client demands.
This role could be performed from any of our offices, ideally from those situated in Cumbria.
Who are we looking for?
Ideally, you will have proven experience in scheduling or resource management, preferably within a legal or conveyancing team; however, a legal background is not essential as long as you have prior experience of working within a professional services type of environment.
It is essential that you can demonstrate excellent communication and interpersonal skills and possess a strong ability in organising and multi-tasking. You will be able to work under pressure, meet deadlines, and maintain our commitment to providing outstanding client service.
What do we offer?
This is an excellent opportunity for the right candidate with the potential for a long-term career in a forward-thinking law firm with a well-established client base. Along with this, we will provide you with a competitive salary, pension, 30 days holiday, and Private Medical Health Insurance; in addition, we will even give you your birthday off every year too!
