Job Description
In this varied role, you will support the IT Procurement team with communications hardware incidents and requests. You will set up mobile communications hardware and create cost savings by identifying and helping to implement opportunities.
What you'll do
1. Investigate incidents raised for mobile communication devices.
2. Fulfill service requests related to mobile communication devices.
3. Liaise with internal IT teams and external stakeholders on telemetry faults.
4. Set up mobile communication devices.
5. Maintain CMDB and create assets.
6. Raise telemetry line requests with external suppliers.
7. Produce reports to highlight process improvements and efficiencies in Mobile Communication.
8. Plan logistics for customer devices.
What you'll need
To succeed in this role, you will have:
1. Strong organizational skills and keen attention to detail.
2. Excellent communication skills at all levels.
3. The ability to work calmly and efficiently under pressure.
4. The ability to meet tight deadlines.
5. An analytical and curious mindset.
6. Self-motivation and initiative.
7. Excellent O365 skills, especially in Outlook and Excel.
8. At least three years' experience in an IT Support Role or similar.
9. Knowledge of Microsoft InTune, Samsung Knox, and Apple DEP (advantageous).
10. Experience with CMDB, ticket management, and asset management.
11. Practical experience troubleshooting iOS and Android systems.
12. Knowledge of IT service management best practices like ITIL v3 or 4 (desirable).
13. Willingness to learn and adapt to new systems quickly.
14. Ability to liaise effectively with internal and external contacts.
