Role Overview We are seeking a driven and adaptable Account Executive who thrives in a fast-paced, high-growth environment. This is a hunter-style role, requiring someone who excels at proactive business development, builds strong relationships, and contributes directly to revenue growth. You will focus on closing high-value SaaS deals (£40–50k average deal size), converting prospects into long-term partners, and helping scale the business globally. Key Responsibilities Proactive Business Development: Build and manage a robust pipeline through outbound prospecting and converting inbound leads, leveraging our high website traffic (140k monthly visitors). Targeted Engagement: Identify and engage with decision-makers across departments such as Marketing, IT, HR, and Accessibility, navigating small and medium-sized business dynamics. Sales Execution: Own the entire sales process from outreach to closing, ensuring a consultative approach that addresses client needs and aligns with company goals. Adaptable Selling: Thrive in a small, resource-constrained environment by creatively overcoming challenges and maximizing available tools. Collaboration: Work closely with marketing, customer success, and product teams to refine go-to-market strategies and ensure a seamless customer experience. Market Awareness: Stay updated on relevant industry trends and regulatory changes, such as the European Accessibility Act, to position our offerings effectively. Performance Reporting: Maintain accurate records of activities, sales progress, and forecasts using CRM tools. Skills and Experience Required Proven Hunting Experience: At least 3 years of experience in a business development or sales role, focusing on hunting new opportunities and closing deals. SaaS Expertise: Demonstrable experience selling SaaS solutions, particularly in small to mid-sized companies where resources are limited. Startup Mindset: Comfortable operating in a small, agile team, and adept at navigating a fast-growing, resource-constrained environment. Consultative Sales: Strong ability to understand customer pain points and craft solutions that align with their needs and business goals. Cultural Fit: Team player with a collaborative mindset, strong work ethic, and an entrepreneurial spirit. A passion for tech-for-good initiatives is essential.
