Our client is the financial services arm of a blue chip, global equipment manufacturer. They are growing their internal sales team and looking to appoint 2 internal relationship managers. The role is based 3 days in the office and 2 from home.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Supporting and promoting the sale of equipment through hire purchase and lease (B2B).
2. Following a compliant sales process to support your clients in choosing the right finance option for their business, and following client care good practice.
3. Negotiating finance rates and coordinating each stage of the client transaction.
4. A high level of telephone interaction with clients, the field-based sales team, and dealer sales personnel.
5. Achieving profit and margin objectives (plus other KPIs).
6. Building relationships with clients through regular calls and emails and responding to inbound inquiries.
7. Nurturing existing relationships with clients and dealer sales personnel.
8. Developing relationships with new clients.
9. Building, managing, and maintaining the sales pipeline.
10. Supporting the team as well as achieving individual objectives.
11. Coordinating and taking responsibility for own workload.
The successful candidate will ideally have some past experience in a similar role, preferably within the financial services sector, although this is not essential. You will have strong communication skills, with the ability to build relationships over the phone, strong numerical skills, and be able to work in a team environment to SLAs.
We will also consider candidates who may be recent graduates, with a relevant business-related degree, who are looking for the first step into a rewarding career in sales & financial services.
