A renowned dairy company is seeking to add a Business Development Manager to their team. This is a fantastic opportunity for an individual with Food/FMCG experience to join a company that offers continuous progression opportunities.
The aim of this role is to promote the brand, develop new accounts, and grow ice cream sales within NI (not Antrim or North Down).

Monday - Friday
9am - 5pm
Salary
£40,000 - £45,000 + 10% bonus + Company car
Responsibilities
* Identify potential new accounts within existing routes where there is capacity to improve route profitability.
* Achieve profitable sales growth against KPIs in territory through sales calls or meetings.
* Work with the Commercial Manager and Distribution Manager to develop new and profitable routes.
* Approach existing and new customers in NI to range check and discuss opportunities to develop sales.
* Resolve customer complaints by investigating potential problems and developing solutions.
* Monitor competition on pricing, new products, delivery schedules, and merchandising.
* Contribute to the annual company sales budget and forecasting for the agreed territory.
The Ideal Candidate
* 2+ years of field sales experience, including cold calling and door knocking.
* Proven experience of growing sales and achieving targets within the Food/FMCG industry.
* Competent in MS Office, including Excel and Word.
