The DCP (Design, Create & Perform) Faculty is a very strong department with a mixture of committed teachers of varied backgrounds and experiences, and the department benefits from strong and supportive leadership. It is envisaged that the person appointed will be enthusiastic about Food Technology and enjoy teaching the subject to all levels and abilities, and who is committed to ensuring pupil enjoyment and progress within the secondary schools successful department. The position offers the opportunity for an experienced or newly qualified teacher to join an established and hardworking team.
The successful candidate will:

CONTRACT/POSITION DETAILS
1. Location – Warrington
2. Position – Food Technology Teacher
3. Start date – September 2024
4. End date (if applicable) – N/A
5. Contract type – Temporary
6. Full time/part time – Part time and full time depending on schools needs
7. Minimum rate of pay – Minimum rate £140 per day
8. Hours – 8:30 am – 4pm (full day), half day (am or pm), individual lesson cover
EXPERIENCE, TRAINING AND QUALIFICATIONS
9. QTS, QTLS, PGCE, EYFS or equivalent
10. Previous experience working in a UK school
11. Up to date Safeguarding training issued in the last year (desirable however not essential)
TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR THIS ROLE THROUGH PROSPERO TEACHING, YOU MUST:
12. Hold Right to Work in the UK
13. Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application
14. Provide two professional child related references that cover the last two years
