We are seeking a creative and dynamic Social Media Coordinator to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing effective social media strategies that enhance our brand presence and engage our audience. This role requires a strong understanding of social media management and public relations, along with the ability to create compelling content that resonates with our target market.

We are NEoffers.co.uk which within our group we have North East Updates, GB Updates (national Facebook page), and Newcastle Supporters Worldwide, we focus on delivering engaging content across a range of topics relevant to the North East, National and Newcastle United. We are also deeply committed to supporting our community, including our annual homeless Christmas campaign.
Role Overview:
As a Content Creator & Social Media Coordinator, you will be responsible for producing and managing content across our social media platforms, ensuring our social media are consistently engaging and up-to-date with the latest news. You will also support our annual homeless Christmas campaign and track content performance through analytics.
Key Responsibilities:
* Stay up-to-date with relevant news for North East Updates, GB Updates, and Newcastle Supporters Worldwide.
* Create and schedule engaging posts (written, image, and video) for each page.
* Occasionally film video content using a smartphone when suitable for the group.
* Assist with the planning and promotion of the annual homeless Christmas campaign.
* Analyze and report on content performance metrics, adjusting strategies as necessary.
* Collaborate with the wider team to ensure consistent branding and messaging.
* Engage with our audience and respond to comments and inquiries across platforms.
Essential Skills & Requirements:
* Strong interest in Newcastle United and local news.
* Proficiency across all major social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, TikTok etc.).
* Ability to film high-quality content on a smartphone.
* Experience in video editing with Adobe Premiere Pro or CapCut (preferred but not essential).
* Familiarity with graphic design tools like Canva.
* Analytical mindset with experience in tracking social media performance metrics.
* Self-motivated and able to work both independently and as part of a team.
* A positive attitude with excellent communication skills.
Working Hours & Reporting:
* Flexible working hours depending on the candidate’s availability and the nature of the work.
* Hybrid working arrangement (office-based with occasional work from home).
* The role reports directly to the Director.

Job Type: Part-time
Pay: £6.40-£12.00 per hour
