About Us
John Port Spencer Academy is a large, vibrant and energetic community school demonstrating a common purpose and ambition – to ensure the very best learning experience for each and every one of our students. We are a Good School (Ofsted 2022) and we recognize that every student has their own individual strengths, gifts, and talents; our aim is to ensure that these are all nurtured and developed to their full potential. John Port Spencer Academy is part of the Spencer Academies family of schools. We are in a semi-rural location and yet easily accessible from major routes – M1, M6, A50 & A38.
We are looking to recruit a Full-Time Teacher of Maths to join our successful and dedicated team. The ideal candidate will have excellent interpersonal skills and be able to engage and motivate students at KS3 and KS4. We are a large Academy and the opportunity to teach KS5 could be available for the right candidate. If you are passionate about your subject and have the desire to inspire all students to reach their full potential, we would be pleased to hear from you. This is an exciting opportunity to join a highly committed, supportive faculty. The role could suit an ECT looking for their first teaching post as there is structured mentoring and support available both in the Academy and through the Trust. Please get in touch if you would like to organize a visit to school: recruitment@johnportspencer.org.uk
