Milestone Infrastructure Services is currently looking to recruit a Project Administrator to work on our Suffolk Highways contract in Ipswich. As a Project Administrator, you will be part of our Efficiency and Performance team responsible for programme management across various workstreams, contract-wide performance management, quality and business improvement, and social value and communications.
Suffolk Highways is a new contract secured by Milestone in 2023 for up to 20 years. Under the contract, we are responsible for delivering a wide range of highway maintenance and improvement activities to Suffolk County Council. You will enable us to meet our key contract aim of ensuring high-quality highway services are delivered for the benefit of residents, businesses, and highway users in Suffolk.
As the Project Administrator your duties & responsibilities will be:
* Supporting the Programme Team with regards to updating the Contractor Plan across multiple workstreams and ensuring all submission deadlines are met.
* Close liaison and continuous communication with other Project Managers within the business to ensure efficient operations and best utilisation of all resources in order to meet estimated outputs, deliver to programme, within budget to achieve correct financial return.
* Supporting the cyclical teams with regards to entering data into the Contractor Plan, reporting and monitoring on performance in line with contractual Key Performance Indicators.
* Attending and taking minutes for internal team meetings and key client meetings.
* Support the performance teams with regards to performance monitoring including providing daily updates on progress and risks.
* Liaise with the delivery teams to update programmes with progress.
Skills & Knowledge Requirements
* Able to build and develop strong relationships internally and externally.
* Organised and excellent admin skills.
* Aptitude to prioritise tasks and work to deadlines.
* Excellent attention to detail, with the means to produce quality records.
* Able to learn and adapt to the use of internal systems.
* Adeptness in the use of tools such as Microsoft Outlook, Microsoft Word, Microsoft Project is desirable.
