This is an exciting opportunity within the North East and North Cumbria (NENC) Integrated Care Board (ICB) for a Permanent, Band 8a, Involvement Manager within the NENC Local Maternity and Neonatal System (LMNS) Programme Management Office.

Main duties of the job
In November 2023 NHS England released the Maternity and Neonatal Voices Partnership (MNVP) Guidance. The guidance has been developed to support Integrated Care Boards (ICBs) and Provider Trusts to address any unwarranted variation in the way MNVP's are implemented across England.
Reporting to the LMNS Deputy Director, the Involvement Manager will be the strategic lead in implementation of the MNVP Guidance and be responsible for delivery of aspects of the Three Year Delivery Plan for Maternity and Neonatal Services.

Job responsibilities
The Involvement Manager will lead identification, development and implementation of activities, functions and professional inputs and their successful co-ordination, including all related policy and strategy implementation in respect of involvement and engagement and the subsequent methods and delivery.

Person Specification
Experience
* Educated to master's degree level, equivalent level qualification or significant relevant experience in involvement and engagement roles.
* Clear evidence that involvement and engagement project management within a complex multi-agency environment has been implemented successfully.
* Project or Programme Management professional qualification, for example PRINCE2, MSP, Agile or Scrum or relevant experience.
* In-depth understanding of lean methodology
Experience
* Significant relevant experience of agile, lean and programme / project tools and techniques
* Experience of working across health and care organisations
