Job Description Overhaul Services Engineer Full time Derby / Hybrid - 3 days on-site What you will be doing: An exciting opportunities have arisen within our growing team in Services Engineering - Delivery, which is critically important to the success of Rolls-Royce as we transition our Civil Large Engine (CLE) products into the Services environment, and increase product throughput within our Maintenance, Repair and Overhaul (MRO) network over the coming years. Overhaul Services Engineering focus on providing technical solutions, which optimise Aero Engine maintenance and associated shop visit cost. The team are a key enabler in the Aero Engine overhaul process, through providing the delivery of fast paced technical solutions, including maintenance manual enrichment in response to arising issues in our global MRO network. Working within a reactive and dynamic environment, you will work to produce, enhance, and validate cost effective solutions, that deliver significant business and operational benefit, whilst maintaining product safety and reliability. You will work with a global network of people within Rolls-Royce, including Services Operations, Services Delivery, Engineering and Customer support teams, and our Global MRO network consisting of Joint Ventures and Authorised Maintenance Centres (AMCs). Responsibilities: Provide technical support to arising issues in the global MRO network, ensuring customer requirements are met. Assess and challenge technical data to provide engineering solutions working across multiple stakeholders covering Aero Engine Inspection, Engine Assembly and Disassembly Methods, Tooling, and Test. Lead and govern Managed Service engineering resource, focusing on delivery, quality, and development of capability. Lead and embed process efficiency and simplification improvements. You will have a good technical knowledge of Gas Turbine Engine and experience within Aerospace Technical Response and Safety processes. You will ideally have Part 145/MRO experience working in an Overhaul Shop environment and knowledge of EASA Part 21J regulations. You will ideally have working Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Aeronautical or Aerospace Engineering or equivalent.
