Description As a Procurement Category and Contracts Manager you will; Category Management: Develop and implement category strategies for procurement across multiple categories. You will be managing a spent of 30-40millon Supplier Management: Identify, evaluate, and manage relationships with key suppliers to ensure quality, cost-effectiveness, and timely delivery of goods and services. Strategic Sourcing: Conduct market analysis to identify potential suppliers, assess their capabilities, and negotiate contracts to achieve the best terms and conditions. Spend Analysis : Monitor and analyse spend data to identify cost-saving opportunities and ensure compliance with budgetary constraint Contract Management: Draft, review, and manage contracts, ensuring all terms and conditions are met and risks are mitigated. Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand their requirements and ensure procurement activities align with business objectives. Risk Management: Identify and mitigate risks associated with procurement, including supply chain disruptions and compliance issues. Performance Reporting: Prepare and present regular reports on procurement activities, supplier performance, and cost savings to senior management. You will also manage a small marketing category Profile A successful Procurement Category Manager/ Contracts Manager should have: Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or a related field. Minimum of 5 years of experience in procurement contract management with a large supplier base You must have knowledge of procurement's products and services, market trends, and supplier landscape. Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills. Proficiency in procurement software and tools. Ability to analyse data and make informed decisions. Strong organisational and time management skills.
