Ensure projects are completed on time and within budget. Operational Change Management: Lead internal operational projects to drive strategic changes, ensuring alignment with organisational goals. Resource Management : Allocate and manage resources effectively, coordinating with internal teams and stakeholders. Risk Management: Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies to address them. Quality Assurance : Ensure that project deliverables meet the required quality standards. Communication : Serve as the main point of contact for project teams and stakeholders, ensuring clear and effective communication. Reporting : Provide regular updates on project progress, challenges, and any deviations from the plan. Project Governance : Develop and maintain project governance frameworks to ensure compliance and effective project management. Development Coordination : Coordinate development activities, ensuring alignment with project goals and timelines. Continuous Improvemen t: Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement changes to enhance efficiency and effectiveness. What you’ll need Project Management and Operational change: Essential - Proven record in successfully managing internal, operational projects, ensuring alignment with organisational goals and strategies. Desirable - Experience of managing customer facing projects and delivering against customer requirements. Essential - Ability to navigate internal processes and manage resources effectively within the company. Desirable - Experience in a role that supports driving and implementing operational change. Leadership and Project Team Management: Essential - Demonstrable experience in leading and motivating a team or group to achieve a common set of goals. Relationship Building & Communication skills: Essential - Experience in building and maintaining relationships at all levels within the organisation. Essential - Ability to effectively communicate with stakeholders across various business functions, from executive committees (ExCo) to team level. Frameworks and Methodologies: Essential -In-depth knowledge of project management methodologies such as PRINCE2, Waterfall, AgilePM, Scrum, Kanban, and Lean. Essential -Ability to determine the appropriate methodology to optimise project outcomes. Essential - Experience in practicing transparency principles to ensure work is understood externally. Desirable - Knowledge and hands-on experience with Agile tools like Jira and Confluence is advantageous Certifications: Desirable -Relevant certifications such as Prince2 Agile, AgilePM, Scrum, or equivalent. Essential -Commitment to continuous learning and staying updated with industry best practices. Telecoms and Tech Industry Knowledge: Desirable -Understanding of the telecoms and tech industry, including current trends, technologies, and regulatory requirements. Desirable -Knowledge and/or experience of Gamma products/services. Desirable -Experience managing projects related to network infrastructure, telecoms deployment, software development, or technology deployments.
