Exciting new opportunities with a world leading British engineering company. We are looking for ambitious Senior Buyers/ Category Managers with experience across FM/ Construction/ Services Procurement.
This is a great opportunity to grow your experience with a respected engineering company who literally help to save lives.
You will be responsible for sourcing either Construction and Facilities services or 3rd party services and will be the primary point of contact for suppliers, managing relationships including performance against KPI indicators, proactively identifying and managing risks, and identifying new suppliers via tendering, RFI and RFQ exercises.
Our client has some high profile and exciting projects on the horizon, and you will be responsible for account managing existing and new suppliers.
Previous FM, Civils, Construction or general indirects/services category experience is a must.
You will have:
1. Excellent networking and relationship building skills
2. Good knowledge of Microsoft packages
3. Knowledge of SAP or related MRP/ERP systems and import/export requirements
