A leading high end manufacturing company are looking for a highly motivated Commercial Data Assistant to join the Pricing Department at their Birmingham Head Office. As a Commercial Data Assistant, you will ensure that all product information is clear, accurate, and visible within internal systems. Working closely with the Commercial team, this role is crucial for providing concise pricing and product details to customers, Key duties as a Commercial Data Assistant:- Manage the production of one-page pricing documents using the internal FileMaker database system.- Update product stock loader codes for current ranges.- Control the SAP product database via data transfer uploads for new ranges.- Create and manage new stock item codes and details in FileMaker systems.- Regularly update and maintain product items in SAP.- Investigate and respond to pricing and product queries through the online portal.- Produce ad hoc and regular reports on product usage for analysis.Qualifications and Experience required for the role of Commercial Data Assistant:- Prior experience in a similar product-related role, with a strong background in managing price lists.- Experience in using SAP is desirable.- Strong Excel skills.- Excellent verbal and written English skills; knowledge of other languages is an advantage.
