Our current portfolio includes five part or fully owned wind farm projects, each at different lifecycle stages. Our operational wind farms - Afton (100% equity), Beatrice (25%), and Överturingen (50%) - have an installed capacity of 320 MW (RRPL proportion), while our development projects - Benbrack onshore wind farm in the South West of Scotland (100%) and Inch Cape offshore wind farm off the East Coast (50%) - will deliver an additional 570 MW. We are committed to long-term investment in the Scottish and UK market, onshore and offshore wind sectors in particular, and have strong growth ambitions to expand into the wider European market and other sustainable energy technologies. We are actively pursuing acquisition and development opportunities, including the offshore wind leasing rounds.
Job Purpose
To manage a Contract Management team and be the accountable person to ensure that the provision of procurement and commercial services to assigned project/asset sites are delivered to a satisfactory standard in line with company and departmental objectives, including compliance with departmental policies and processes.
Job Description
* Management and development of a Contract Management team
* Set tasks to ensure satisfactory completion of the departmental and company objectives
* Procurement and commercial services to the company with a key focus on construction and engineering activity
* General support as required to the Procurement Operations team including the procurement of non-engineering and construction goods and services
* Strategic support to the Head of Procurement and Commercial
* Drafting of relevant policies, processes, templates, forms of contract, and guidance notes
* Ensure successful integration of yourself and our Contract Managers into project/asset teams
* Deputise for the Head of Procurement and Commercial as necessary

Qualifications
Essential
* Undergraduate or post-graduate qualification in commercial management (incl. quantity surveying), procurement, supply chain management, legal or relevant business-related degree
* Procurement and/or commercial management professional qualification i.e. MRICS, MCIPS, MCICES etc.
Desirable
* Post-graduate contract law qualification i.e. LLM, CLCM, ACLCM etc.
* Claims and dispute resolution professional qualification i.e. MCIArb, RICS Diploma in Adjudication, Expert Witness Diploma/Certificate, ICE Arbitrators and/or Adjudicator endorsement qualifications
