Are you an experienced professional with a background in management consulting, eDiscovery, legal operations, or information governance? Join the Lighthouse Information Governance consulting team and play a pivotal role in shaping strategies, delivering exceptional client engagements, and driving innovation in the legal technology space. As a Senior Consultant, you will leverage your technical expertise in project metrics, reporting, and data visualization to address complex project requirements and deliver high-impact solutions.
This role is tailored for a dynamic and hands-on professional with proven experience in management consulting or project management, ideally from firms like Accenture or the Big 4. An Excel power user, the successful candidate will have the skills to lead internal and client meetings, develop clear and concise work products, and proactively identify risks while proposing strategic solutions. This is an opportunity to act as a trusted advisor to clients and make a significant impact in the information governance and eDiscovery landscape.
What will this person do?
* Analyze documents and data sources to develop substantive factual findings and eDiscovery strategies, with a focus on preservation stage of discovery.
* Lead internal and client meetings, prepare agendas, and develop clear, concise, and well-reasoned work products.
* Provide strategic advisory on legal preservation, identification, and collection of data across complex IT environments.
* Oversee investigations into data storage, retention, migration, and defensibility of legal holds.
* Act as a trusted advisor to clients, proactively identifying risks and proposing solutions.
* Utilize project metrics, reporting, and data visualization to inform strategy and decision-making.
* Leverage technical skills in database administration and structured data governance to support client needs.
* Drive process improvement and corporate knowledge management initiatives.
* Develop and implement governance frameworks for Microsoft 365, Google Workspace, mobile device data, and archiving solutions.

* 10+ years of experience in one or more of the following domains: eDiscovery, information governance, legal operations, document review, knowledge management, data privacy, or records management.
* Management consulting background or experience, ideally with firms like Accenture or the Big 4.
* Proven leadership experience managing teams, remote staff, and multiple complex initiatives.
* Strong technical knowledge of Microsoft 365, Google Workspace, legal hold platforms (e.g., Exterro, Relativity Legal Hold), and data management solutions.
* In-depth understanding of data storage, retrieval, retention policies, and defensible migration strategies.
* Excellent stakeholder management, problem-solving, and communication skills.
* Relevant certifications such as CRM, CIPP/EU, CEDS, IGP, CIGO, or JD are a plus.
* Excel power user with strong skills in data visualization and reporting.
* Adaptable, resourceful, quick thinking, strong executive presence.
* Willingness to travel up to 35%, including internationally.
* Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) is preferred.
Work Environment and Physical Demands
* Duties are performed in a typical office environment while at a desk or computer table.
* Duties require the ability to use a computer, communicate over the telephone, and read printed material, in a quiet and professional setting.
* Duties may require being on call periodically and working outside normal working hours (evenings and weekends).
