We’re looking for a motivated and highly organised bids professional to join our growing design, engineering and project delivery company.
Part of a central proposals team, playing an integral role in our work winning activities, you’ll be involved in the delivery of high-quality proposals and tender submissions.

You’ll work closely with a skilled Head of Proposals whose company know-how means you’ll learn our processes and environment quickly, to support work winning activities across the sectors and engineering disciplines.
Responsibilities
* Support the full lifecycle of the bid process, from opportunity identification, development of strategy through to interview and handover to operations
* Prepare high-quality EOI / PQQ responses, proposals, tender submissions and presentations including:
o Bid management, coordination & administration
o Collation of information
o Management of clarification questions
o Writing of responses & management of other contributors
o Production of CVs and case studies
* Contribute to administering the shared mailbox and managing opportunity notifications
* Coordinate the decision-making process for each proposal
* Contribute to win strategies and storyboard development
* Ensure the governance process and company procedures are followed for every bid
* Complete Supplier Questionnaires and other supplier information
* Creating on-brand presentation material and other collateral
* Ensuring all deadlines are met
* Collation, maintenance and uploading of Best Practice Library materials
* Maintaining and updating a library of CVs
* Support the growth of the multiple business sectors of the BakerHicks business
* General support to the wider Marketing / Bid team
* Occasional travel to other company offices in the UK and Europe
Skills, Knowledge & Expertise
* Ideally degree or equivalent standard educated in a relevant subject, with a minimum of three years’ experience in a bid environment in any industry
* Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to liaise with people at different levels
* Ability to develop relationships and trust with co-workers, peers and leadership team
* Sound knowledge of the bid process and bid best practice
* Ability to be creative in both writing and presentations
* Strong attention to detail with a commitment to delivering high quality work
* Computer proficient with experience in Microsoft Office
* Able to work individually as well as part of a team
* Excellent time management and planning skills, able to meet multiple project deadlines
* Highly dependable, willing to go above and beyond in supporting the team as well as the business
* Experience in Adobe Creative Suite (e.g. InDesign) an advantage
