We are seeking a dedicated Behaviour Learning Support Assistant (Behaviour LSA) to join our dynamic team at secondary schools in Grays. As a Behaviour LSA, you will play a crucial role in supporting students with behavioural challenges, fostering a conducive learning environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide one-on-one and group support to students, addressing behavioural and emotional needs.
Collaborate with teachers and support staff to implement tailored behaviour management strategies.
Assist in developing and maintaining Individual Education Plans (IEPs) for students.
Monitor and report on student progress, adapting support strategies as necessary.
Promote positive behaviour and social interactions among students.
Requirements:
Previous experience as a Behaviour LSA or in a similar role within an educational setting.
Strong understanding of behaviour management techniques and strategies.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to remain patient, empathetic, and resilient in challenging situations.
Relevant qualifications or training in special educational needs or behaviour support are advantageous.
