About the role:
You will be tasked with delivering key strategic objectives:
1. Identify and arrange support services for individuals as assessed by their key worker.
2. Ensure support services are in place within agreed timelines and budget constraints.
3. Utilise existing contracts and negotiate cost-effective fees for support.
4. Issue and terminate individual service contracts/purchase orders accurately and in a timely manner.
5. Maintain accurate records on Mosaic regarding placements, contracts, and financial details.
6. Contribute to financial reporting, service planning, and team performance indicators.
About you:
The successful candidate will have the following skills / experience:
7. Knowledge of Adult Social Care legislation, regulations, and relevant business processes.
8. Experience working in a social care setting, including negotiating with service providers.
9. Ability to calculate and negotiate fair prices for support services.
10. Experience working for a local authority.
What’s on offer:
Salary: £19+ per hour
*may negotiate higher for exceptional candidates, based on experience*
Contract type: 3-6 months minimum, with a high likelihood of extension
Hours: Monday – Sunday, 36 hours per week
