Role Overview:
We are looking for a One-to-One Teaching Assistant to support a Year 4 student with an EHCP for SEMH and Cognition & Learning needs. You will play a key role in helping the student meet their academic targets and develop crucial life skills.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Provide tailored one-to-one support to the student across various subjects.
2. Assist with social, emotional, and behavioural development.
3. Help the student engage with classroom activities and overcome learning barriers.
4. Work collaboratively with the teaching staff to implement the EHCP.
5. Foster a positive and encouraging learning environment.
Essential Skills and Qualifications:
6. Experience working with students with SEMH and Cognition & Learning needs.
7. Patience, empathy, and a supportive approach.
8. Strong behaviour management skills.
9. Commitment to the student's personal and academic development.
