Aviation Recruitment Experts Optime are seeking an experienced Aircraft Cleaners (Flexible Working) to join a respected team at Gatwick Airport for the upcoming summer season. This is a flexible working position.
PLEASE NOTE: APPLICANTS MUST HOLD A FULL VALID UK DRIVING LICENCE
What's on offer:
* Rate of pay: £14.77 per hour
* Weekly pay (Every Friday)
* 1 week of paid training provided (You must be available to attend the full two weeks training).
* You must pick up a minimum of 2-3 shifts per week, but Sundays are essential for you to work. (Shift timing examples below)

Key Responsibilities:
* Clean aircraft interiors including seats, windows, and tray tables to ensure the cabin is ready for passengers.
* Ensure cleanliness and safety standards are maintained throughout the cabin and aircraft compartments.
* Remove any rubbish or unwanted items from the aircraft.
* Replenish necessary supplies (e.g., blankets, pillows, magazines) for each flight.
* Ensure that the aircraft is cleaned to a high standard in accordance with airline protocols.
* Work efficiently and safely to meet tight turnaround times between flights.
* Be flexible in responding to additional cleaning needs when required.
Shifts available:
Below are the shifts that will be available on the Elevate App. You must be able to work a minimum of 2-3 shifts per week and be able to work both AM and PM shifts. Working Sundays are essential for you to work. This is not a full-time role.
Coverage required on the following days:
* Mondays
* Thursdays
* Fridays
* Saturdays
* Sundays
Hours:
* The standard operational hours are typically from 05:00 AM to 10:30 PM. However, as Gatwick Airport operates 24 hours, schedules may occasionally require earlier or later shifts. Flexibility is essential for this role.
Requirements:
* Full UK Manual Driving Licence (mandatory).
* Valid Passport or Driving Licence/Birth Certificate or National ID card.
* This role requires you to stand for long periods of time (6-8 hours).
* UK Settled Status (If applicable).
* Proof of National Insurance.
* Proof of (current) Address.
* 5 Year Address History.
* 5 Year Work Reference History.
* Successful candidates will be required to complete a basic criminal record check following the interview in line with CAA requirements.
PLEASE NOTE: As this position is in the aviation industry, successful applicants must be able to provide a 5-year checkable history.
