We are seeking a significantly experienced Sales Manager to join our team for an exciting next phase.
The role is full-time based out of our Gravesend hub.
The Sales Manager will be responsible for:
1. Developing and executing the company's commercial strategy aimed at driving growth and profitability.
2. Identifying and capitalising on business opportunities with both existing and new partners.
3. Managing key client relationships, ensuring exceptional service and long-term collaboration.
4. Overseeing pricing strategies, contract negotiations, and commercial policies.
5. Working closely with our operations, transport, and technical functions.
6. Analysing market performance and reporting on accurate pipelines and monthly forecasts to the Senior Leadership Team.
ESSENTIAL EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
1. An extensive customer and contact network in the local market.
2. Proven track record of achieving KPIs and sales targets.
3. Prior success implementing company-wide sales strategies and defining sales processes.
4. Strong ability to analyse and address sales challenges, recommending and executing solutions.
5. Success in acquiring and retaining high-value customers.
6. Independent, innovative, self-disciplined, and highly motivated.
7. Excellent communication (verbal and written) skills.
8. Excellent presentation skills.
9. Prior knowledge and use of sales tools such as CRM.
