Job summary This post leads on Operational and Workforce for the Clinical Pharmacy Service. We are looking to recruit a pharmacist on a Fixed term contract / secondment to provide interim cover for at least 6 months. The focus initially during this time will be on 1. Developing the plans for trainee pharmacists for 25-26, ensuring we have a robust training programme and appropriate DPPs. 2. Reviewing and updating the rotational pharmacist (band 6-7) programmes to support progression options. Although there is an expectation that there will be some on-site presence, as this is an interim post, a significant amount can be completed remotely. There is also option of part time hours. About us There has been significant change at EKHUFT Pharmacy, over the last few years we have received significant investment to the services that we provide with an increase in WTE and new posts e.g. AMS Consultant Pharmacist, ED technicians and the Trust has just received a must do from CQC to extend the clinical pharmacy service directly to Medicine wards. We currently deliver extended services here: 6 day cancer service 7 day clinical service to Acute admissions. 7 day Clinical Service to ITU at WHH 7 day operational service with clinical support.
