Randstad Education is proud to partner with specialist schools in Huyton to support students with a range of Special Educational Needs. We are currently seeking compassionate, patient, and dedicated 1:1 Teaching Assistants to join our team as soon as possible. This term-time role provides a wonderful opportunity to work closely with students, helping them reach their full potential, with the possibility of a permanent position for the right candidate.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Offer personalized support to children with varying Special Educational Needs, including Autism and ADHD
2. Act as a positive and creative role model, building strong, supportive relationships with students
3. Ideally, have prior experience working with SEN pupils in a school environment
4. Demonstrate patience, enthusiasm, and professionalism in all aspects of your role
5. Assist with lesson delivery and work closely with teachers across different classes
6. Plan and deliver lessons using the P Scales curriculum
7. Nurture positive learning experiences and relationships with SEN pupils
8. Support students with a wide range of needs, including MLD, PMLD, SLD, ADHD, and physical disabilities
9. Display excellent communication, time management, and organizational skills
10. Be ready to start immediately
