Job Description As a Mortgage Processor, you will provide support to the Mortgage Advisors and customers by accurately assessing new applications against underwriting criteria, following appropriate policies and procedures and ensuring that pipelines are appropriately managed and progressed. As a Mortgage Processor, we are looking for someone to: Accurately process applications from receipt of pack to submission to underwriting, completing information on relevant systems and completing relevant fraud prevention checks Provisionally underwrite and package new applications received, providing an initial case assessment and requesting any additional information required to progress to underwriting Complete security checks with applicants where required, with a focus on fraud avoidance, ensuring timely investigation, escalation and reporting, to minimise the risk to the business and the customer Accurately manage the submission process, ensuring all data entry is accurate completed to ensure a smooth transition to underwriting Proactively manage a pipeline of cases, ensuring that information is proactively requested from customers and third parties Provide customers and other stakeholders with updates and ensure required information is requested within service levels Qualifications Essential Mortgage processing/administrative experience Customer Service experience Ability to assess and interpret information supplied e.g. bank statement Experience of working in a regulated environment Strong communication skills both written and verbal with the ability to prioritise and work to deadlines Additional Information Benefits working at Together 26 days holiday, and a day off for your birthday (increasing with service to 30 days), plus bank holidays Buy & sell holidays Discretionary annual bonus Matched pension contribution Life assurance Critical illness cover Health cash plan Private medical insurance Free access to company holiday homes Travel season ticket loans Ride to work scheme Free local gym access Local bar / restaurant discounts Together Money embraces diversity and inclusion, and are proud to be an equal opportunity workplace.
