G’s Fresh Ltd and their Beetroot operation in March packs over 17.5k tonnes each year, a site with industry-leading automation and a significant workforce, they supply the UK’s leading supermarkets with fresh, healthy Beetroot products. We are looking to recruit a Multihead Engineer to support the engineering team in providing support for all production activity, responding to equipment and machine breakdowns in a timely manner. Ensure the maintenance of equipment and machinery on site. Key Responsibilities: The repair & maintenance of all multi-head weighers (Buckets, Catch pans, Heads, Centre cones & Feeders) To train out the correct operation instruction to ensure that the machinery is running at its best operational position. To optimize each machines giveaway and operational speeds Your manager will guide you and your development and inform you of any changes in your levels of responsibility. Work in line with the standard working procedures to ensure the highest quality output. Actively suggest improvements to systems and procedures to continually strive to improve the way the department and factory operate, including highlighting safety, efficiency, and reliability where possible. Complete work records daily to support the collation of data for machine downtime and effectiveness. Document which parts are utilized on the job to ensure a maintained stock store. You will be expected to perform such additional activities as your manager may reasonably request. Candidate requirements: Qualified electrical and / or mechanical engineer Experience of working in a production environment, preferably within the food industry.
