Junior PHP Developer
Ronald James Group is looking for a PHP Developer to join their dynamic team. As a Junior Developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining PHP-based web applications to support business operations. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work on diverse projects and contribute to the digital transformation of the organisation.
Some of the responsibilities:
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand project requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
* Develop custom PHP (primarily Laravel) applications and modules to meet business needs, ensuring scalability, performance, and security.
* Optimise MySQL databases, including schema design, indexing, and query optimization.
* Implement data migration tasks to transfer and synchronize data between different systems and databases.
* Integrate third-party APIs and services to enhance the functionality of existing applications.
* Write clean, well-documented, and maintainable code following coding standards and best practices.
* Perform unit testing and debugging to identify and resolve software defects in a timely manner.
* Participate in code reviews to provide feedback on code quality, performance, and adherence to coding standards.
Some of the requirements:
* 1+ year(s) of professional experience in PHP development.
* Familiarity with front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.

* Strong communication skills with the ability to convey technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
Desirable:
