We are looking for a part-time receptionist to complement our team here at Wood Street Veterinary Group. Within this role you will work across all 5 of our branches in Barnet, Cockfosters, Enfield, Holders Hill and Radlett which keeps the job exciting, interesting and mixing with all our teams.

The Role
We are seeking a friendly, organised, and compassionate Receptionist to join our team. As a receptionist, you will be the first point of contact for our clients, ensuring they receive a warm welcome and professional service.
A typical day will include:
1. Greeting clients and their pets with a warm and friendly demeanour.
2. Managing appointments by scheduling, confirming, and coordinating visits.
3. Handling various administrative tasks such as answering phone calls, responding to emails, and managing paperwork.
4. Accurate maintenance of client and patient records.
5. Providing clear updates to clients regarding their pets' care and treatment plans.
6. Supporting the veterinary team by ensuring smooth communication and coordination of services.

What We're Looking For
We are looking for someone with excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, and strong organisational abilities with a keen attention to detail. The ideal candidate should be able to multitask and prioritise tasks effectively in a busy environment. Proficiency in using veterinary software systems for scheduling and record-keeping is essential. While knowledge of basic laboratory procedures and veterinary terminology is preferred, full training will be provided for the right candidate.
Working Pattern
This is a part-time position, working 20 hours per week. The hours of work are between 8 am - 9 pm with a 1:3 rota for Saturdays.
