Overview: As a Data Essentials Apprentice, you will play a vital role in ensuring smooth business operations while learning and applying essential data skills. This role involves supporting the team with data-driven tasks, improving processes, and ensuring timely and accurate data management. The role includes: Utilise data analysis skills to identify inefficiencies in workflows and suggest improvements. Deliver excellent communication and phone etiquette with internal and external stakeholders. It’s an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience while working towards a qualification in data essentials through QA. Key Responsibilities: Assist in managing the daily operations of the centre, including distributing service calls efficiently. Communicate with service engineers, providing clear job details and customer requirements. Build and maintain strong working relationships with customers, ensuring their needs are met. Follow up with customers to obtain outstanding work order numbers. Provide data entry and management support for service and customer records. Use data tools and systems to support scheduling, coordinating meetings, and maintaining office supplies. Create, update, and computerise documents, correspondence, and reports as needed. Generate and streamline data reports using Microsoft 365 Suite to provide insights into operations. Collaborate with the Accounts Team to support administrative tasks and data reconciliation. Skills and attributes: Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Proficient IT skills with a willingness to learn new tools and systems. Excellent organisation and time management skills. Flexible and adaptable approach to work. A growth mindset with a focus on continuous improvement. Good timekeeping and attention to detail. Additional relevant qualifications and industry experience will be considered to tailor the apprenticeship to your current skillset. Entry requirements: 3 GCSE's (or equivalent) at grades 4 (A-C) in any subject GCSE Maths and English (or equivalents) at grades 3 (D or above) Prospective apprentices must not hold an existing qualification at the same or higher level as this apprenticeship in a similar subject You may also have a combination of qualifications and experience which demonstrate the minimum foundation needed for the programme.
