We are looking for an HR, Psychology or Business Studies student to join our HR team on a 12-month placement starting in summer 2025. This is a full-time position to join our HR team based in our Nottingham office. You will be working closely with the HR Associate Director and HR Manager to look after our trainee population. This group includes trainees who have been recruited through either our Trainee Solicitor Apprenticeship, Direct Entry Pathway or Legal Assistant Programme. In this role you will have responsibility for internal trackers, mapping what stage a trainee is at, from starting employment through to their qualification as a Solicitor. You will work with the team to ensure that all the relevant forms, reviews, diary entries and employment documentation are completed and stored appropriately to satisfy our training regulations. You will build a relationship with the trainees and act as a first point of contact to them. You will have an opportunity to write content for our internal intranet and social media posts. You will support the team in developing and delivering our Trainee Induction. You will provide administrative support to the HR Associate Director and HR Manager on other ad-hoc tasks. This role is based in our Nottingham office with some working from home available. Skills and experience: Strong administrative skills with excellent attention to detail Organised and driven to complete tasks to a high standard Eager to learn and gain valuable experience in Human Resources IT literate and comfortable working in Excel daily Good communication skills and able to build relationships with different levels in the business A proactive team player who will use their initiative to support the team and make a difference Ability to embrace new systems.
