Finance Payments Reconciliation Assistant

Our Finance team is now looking for a Finance Payments Reconciliation Assistant to join them here at our Harrods headquarters in Hammersmith on a permanent basis.
About The Role
In this role, you will have the responsibility of being the main point of contact for our payment partners, replying promptly to any queries via phone or email. You will coordinate with the partners as well as other internal teams to ensure we have up-to-date terms agreed and this information is inputted correctly into the system.
This calls for excellent interpersonal skills as well as time management which will support you in other daily duties, including:
* Liaising with payment partners to prevent chargeback losses.
* Creating reports for our payment partners at month end.
* Having responsibility for some tender and deposit balance sheet accounts ensuring that Harrods maintains accurate details relating to deposits.
* Reviewing and investigating failed point of sale revenues between the Point of Sale Tilling and SAP Systems for all of our sites.
* Sending out all relevant documents and completing all administration for the above.
Depending on your role, you may be fully on-site or have a mix of on-site and home working – this is what we refer to as ‘Hybrid’. Our hybrid working policy allows colleagues to work from home for part of the week, with a minimum of three days on-site, depending on business needs.
About You
You will have strong administrative skills, great attention to detail, and the ability to switch between tasks when needed, ensuring all administration is completed in line with key dates across the financial year.
You will also have:
* PC Literacy (Excel, Outlook, and SAP).
* Excellent relationship building skills.
* A natural tenacity, able to work autonomously as well as within a team.
* The ability to communicate clearly across all levels of the business.
* An interest in finance and figures.
