Key Responsibilities for a HSE Advisor
* Set the Standard: Develop and maintain high-quality HSEQT procedures, ensuring compliance with legal and company standards.
* Monitor and Improve: Conduct audits, inspections, and engagement activities to enhance performance using data-driven insights.
* Lead Initiatives: Support and implement HSE campaigns and process improvements to drive positive change.
* Investigate and Learn: Assist in incident investigations, identify root causes, and implement preventive measures.
* Develop Talent: Lead training needs analysis and oversee development programs to foster a culture of learning.
* Build Relationships: Represent the company’s Purpose, Vision, and Values while engaging with customers, partners, auditors, and regulators.
Key Skills for a HSE Advisor
* Qualifications: NEBOSH General/Construction Certificate, NCRQ Certificate, or NVQ Level 3 in Occupational Health and Safety.
* At least 3 years in a similar role within construction, infrastructure, rail, civil engineering, highways.
