The role To provide high quality administrative support in the delivery of Beyondly’s packaging compliance data management services, with a strong focus on data quality and accuracy. Providing administrative support to the wider packaging team as required. You can read more information about the packaging compliance and plastic tax regulations by following the below links: Packaging Compliance: https://www.gov.uk/government/collections/extended-producer-responsibility-for-packaging-report-packaging-data Plastic Tax: https://www.gov.uk/government/collections/plastic-packaging-tax The responsibilities (there are more) Chasing, cleansing, manipulation and processing of customer packaging data. Validation of customer data, ensuring and maintaining data quality and accuracy. Responding to customer and supplier queries regarding packaging data gathering, via email and telephone. Conduct desk-based audits of supplier provided data. Provide support to Data Analysts as required in relation to quarterly and annual data reporting in line with packaging compliance legislation and in line with internal and regulatory deadlines. Monitoring of packaging data requests inbox (including inbox organisation), escalating tasks to relevant packaging data team members where appropriate. Administrative support as required, including chasing customer and supplier data submissions, chasing data-sign off forms, internal workflow completion and quality checks. You will have a logical and methodical approach with an eye for detail, being able to prioritise, multi-task and manage time effectively. You will have strong communication skills with a confident telephone manner, taking a highly organised and conscientious approach to your work. You will be comfortable working independently but will also work well in a team, taking a ‘muck in’ approach. The role is fast paced, so you should be prepared to think on your feet and be able to absorb new information quickly and effectively. To thrive in this role, you will be passionate and excited to work for a business for good. You must have a strong work ethic, with excellent organisational skills and the ability to meet deadlines. You will be flexible and highly resilient to change, being committed to growing with the business. If you have previous experience of cleansing and manipulating large volumes of data, then even better.
