Role: Quantity Surveyor – Heritage and Restoration Location: Peterborough Employment Type: Permanent Are you an Experienced Quantity Surveyor looking for your next challenge in the Heritage, Restoration, and Conservation sector? Join us to oversee the commercial aspects of restoration projects, including Grade II listed buildings and historic structures, with values of up to £4m. Key Responsibilities As a Quantity Surveyor in the heritage sector, your role will include: Preparing project valuations, pricing variations, and negotiating final accounts. Producing accurate Cost Value Reconciliation (CVR) reports and monthly WIP reporting. Procuring subcontractor packages and managing accounts, including raising payment certificates and negotiating final accounts. Assisting site teams with the procurement of materials and plant. Attending internal project review meetings and client progress meetings as required. Skills and Experience To excel in this role, you will need: A proven track record in Quantity Surveying. 2-3 years’ experience, ideally with a main contractor. A degree in a relevant field and a solid working knowledge of the JCT suite of contracts. Strong communication skills, with proficiency in Excel and Word. A confident and motivated attitude, with the ability to work independently or as part of a team. Excellent ethics and values, and a passion for delivering exceptional work.
